Kairos Prison Ministry
Kairos unites Christians to make a difference for Christ in the hearts of prisoners.
Kairos is an ecumenical, world- wide ministry that brings the love of God and the light of Christ into prisons. Many volunteers rally to become the hands and feet of Christ for 30-36 inmates per mission who come seeking a new way of life. Kairos Torch, which is focused on youth offenders, offers unconditional love and acceptance, encouraging young men and women to share their life journey through participation in a long term mentoring process. A long weekend from Friday to Sunday is taking place at the prison where after a follow-up mentoring sessions are done on Saturday mornings for 6 months.
How Can You Help?
Pray for the spiritual receptivity, safety and endurance of leaders, team, prison staff and inmates who will attend the weekends. Pray for the safety of and provision for families of the team in their absence.

Child Evangelism Project
The vision of the Child Evangelism project is to reach as many as possible children with the message of the gospel – so that they would get to know Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour and grow in a relationship with Him in order to live as His disciples.
We are thankful for the more than 2200 kids that are currently being reached weekly in the different Bible clubs that we run on farms, in schools, aftercare centres and pre-primary schools. This is made possible with the help of many volunteers who are able to present well-founded Bible lessons, together with fun-filled and creative educational activities. Children from poor communities are also taken on camps which they thoroughly enjoy – and create a wonderful opportunity for building relationships and in-depth group work.
We also present training workshops for volunteers, as well as assistant training programs for pre-primary school teachers in order to help them to establish a Bible education curriculum in their schools.

Our vision: Missional with the intension to evangelise and disciple making of unreached population groups with the aim on Kingdom expansion and church planting in Sri Lanka. This is done in a wonderful partnership with the Christian Reformed Church of Sri Lanka (CRCSL).
We are involved at 3 different ministries which are fully functional as congregations and they are also expanding their involvement to other communities.
People are converted, disciple making is taking place and the youth gets mobilised, irrespective of the challenges they are facing with the anti- conversion laws and poor living conditions.
The conclusion can be made that the involvement of local reverends and pastors is much more effective in building His Kingdom.
Our involvement makes us humble and thankful to be part of these ministries. It is a blessing to see how God works. Please come and take our hands in this wonderful ministry.
